The episode start with Sanjay saying that Armaan will claim to be part of Abhira’s family. Dadi insists that it should be Abhira’s maternal family doing this ritual. He points out that Abhira tried really hard until the last minute and got the money for the event, but she can’t magically create a family.
Armaan queries Abhira about her family, and she explains she’s asked many times but never received an answer. He offers to help find them if she wishes. Abhira confesses she wanted to meet them but her mother was against it, and she can’t go against her mother’s wishes. Dadi comments that Abhira’s mother was her sole family and that pride will be shattered soon; no amount of money can bring back her mother or her maternal home.
Sanjay talks about how stubborn Abhira is. Dadi notices that Abhira’s loneliness has made her lean on them a lot; family is her biggest weakness and will be their strongest leverage. She will see she has no one & will go along with their terms. Armaan says you can’t break family bonds and encourages her to look for her family, saying she deserves their love.
Abhira replies that her mom deserved their love too, but they never reached out. She says she’ll manage the ritual by herself. Dadi thinks she will fail.
Abhira is determined to Succeed & promises she’ll do something. Ruhi quickly comments that Manish might be mad since he’s not replying. Abhira gently warns Ruhi not to call him because he could be Sleeping. Ruhi points her outhouse. Abhira says she came over to chat.
Armaan steps in to defend Abhira, saying she didn’t say anything wrong. Ruhi wonders why he got invited to the ceremony.
Ruhi becomes upset, remembering how Armaan left her standing alone at the altar, leaving her embarrassed (and criticizing Abhira for wanting Manish at her wedding).
The next morning, everyone observes the gifts. Abhira receives envelopes. Dadi notes that no gifts came from Abhira’s family. Armaan says it’s known, so why bring it up. Sanjay remarks she should have declined earlier. Vidya agrees. Dadi declares that there will be no ritual. Men arrive with gifts and place them. Sanjay confronts Abhira about the money left by her mother.
Manoj wonders about where the items came from. Abhira points out Manish, who shows up withwarna & Surekha. They bring smiles to everyone’s faces.
Manish everyone that Abhira’s family is here! The ritual can begin. Abhira hugs him, tears of joy in her eyes. But then Sanjay steps in, accusing her of tricking Ruhi’s family for money and tying them down just to get a new family.
Manish shuts him down firmly, saying that Abhira is his granddaughter—Akshara’s daughter. Everyone is stunned by this revelation.
Abhira starts crying again. Ruhi had mentioned Akshu. Suddenly upset, Ruhi slaps Abhira, her the daughter of a killer who caused their parents’ deaths. She blames Abhira’s mother for all the problems.
Seeing them fighting, he stops them by telling them that they are sisters.
After this, Manish promises to support Abhira. At this time, Ruhi becomes very sad and misses her mother.
Abhira takes off her ring 💍, realizing the past can never be forgotten 🕰️. She thinks maybe it’s best if she leaves 🚶♀️. Handing the ring to Ruhi, she walks away 👋. Poor Ruhi faints next 😵. Suwarna calls Manish 📞 and he watches over them with worry .
